I always wonder what transparency is and means. Is transparency invisible or visible? How can I delineate transparency? So, I blew more than 70 layers of thin glass bubbles into a mold in a kiln. Thin glass skins were getting layered and became a shiny white solid. This provoked more questions. Can I consider this solid as transparent? Does transparency qualify as phenomena such as reflection?
